Fast becoming one of the UK's brightest new writing companies, Casbah Theatre’s mission is to create and perform

narrative based work with a core Casbah team and tour it to both national and international audiences.

Casbah commissions, produces and tours new plays which are bold, uncompromising and contemporary. It has a

diverse artistic policy that includes new writing and small scale musical theatre. Casbah's work delivers a hard edged

aesthetic that is founded on a strong and heightened narrative.

Casbah Theatre’s purpose is to ‘fire the imagination’ of its audiences by creating unforgettable indoor and outdoor

theatre which explores storytelling through language, visual imagery, physicality, music, design and new

writing, and which challenges the barriers of convention whilst remaining ible to audiences of all ages and

backgrounds. Ultimately, we aim to give to our audience a total theatre experience that is exciting, compelling and

 entertaining.

 About Us

Presently, Casbah Theatre doesn't have the facilities to read unsolicited scripts. We would suggest submitting new work

to venues like the Bush, Hampstead, National Theatre, Royal Court or Soho Theatre, all of which accept unsolicited

 work.
